The Garmin chest strap for heart rate measuring Premium HRM-Run measures the movements of the chest and calculates the values of stride (an external foot pod is no longer required!), the up and down movement of the running movement (vertical movement) as well as the floor contact time. Out of it, the own running style can be analysied and the performance can be improved step by step.
  • With integrated acceleration sensor
  • Values of running efficiency for improving the running technique
    • Cadence
    • Vertical movement
    • Floor contact time
    • Balance of the floor contact time
    • Vertical relation
  • Cadence - The higher the cadence, the more efficient and more joint-gentle is the running style.
  • Vertical movement - The lower the up and down movement while running, the less energy is required. The target is to "slide" rather than to "jump" while running.
  • Floor contact time - this value indicates in milliseconds how long the foot touches the floor. The shorter the floor contact time, the quicker and more efficient gets the run.
  • Balance of floor contact time - the relation of left and right floor contact time while running (in percent). For example: it is displayed as 53.2, together with an arrow, which points to the left or to the right.
  • Stride length - the length of your steps from one step to the next, measured in metres.
  • Vertical relation - the relation of the vertical movement to the stride length (in percent). A lower value indicates in general a better running shape.
  • Size: 60-142 cm x 3 cm x 1.2 cm
  • Weight: 59 g
  • Battery: CR2032
  • Waterproof up to 5 ATM
  • Transmission: 2.4 GHz ANT
